Farnborough Dramatic Society

Farnborough Dramatic Society (FDS) is a very friendly and well-established amateur dramatic group located in Farnborough Village, just outside Orpington, Kent. We meet Tuesday evenings 8-10pm at Farnborough Village Hall. Our yearly season starts late-August/early-September and runs through to late-May, during which we stage an Autumn, Winter and late-Spring production.

Interested in joining us? We would love to have you on board! You will be made most welcome, whether your interest be in acting, sound & lighting, costume & props, set-design or helping out front-of-house. Contact us to find out more.

Farnborough Bridge

Farnborough Bridge Club runs duplicate bridge on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7.20pm. We also run sessions on most Tuesday afternoons (excluding the 2nd Tuesday of each month) at 1.30pm-4pm.
Visitors are welcome and particularly encouraged on Tuesdays for a more relaxed session, where first time visitors are guaranteed a game as we have partners available if required.

Bridge is an amazing and complex game. If you would like to learn how to play, we periodically run lessons which are relaxed and fun. Please check our website, or contact us on email, and we’ll be sure to let you know when the next set of lessons are due to start.

Dance Off

Dance Off Studios is a fun, friendly, professionally run dance school, established in 2008.  We take students from as young as 2 years old guiding them throughout their performing journey to adulthood, helping them grow in confidence, technique and performance.

With over 18 years experience, Principal Mrs Gemma and the wider Dance Off Studios team ensure students are given the best tuition, the best opportunities and the best time available. From weekly classes to full scale shows within a professional theatre, Dance Off Studios caters for students who enjoy Dance as a recreational sport or for those who wish to study and become a dancer/teacher.

Dance Off Studios is accredited by the British Ballet Organisation and IDTA in which we participate in examinations from Nursery to Advanced Vocational.

Ladycroft Woman's Institute (W.I.)

Ladycroft WI is a diverse and friendly group of women that hold our monthly meetings in the village of Farnborough, Kent. Our members are interested in a range activities and topics from many different crafts to the performing arts, history and horticulture. We are a sociable group and alongside the monthly meeting we organise craft and games meet ups, monthly walks and attend a local quiz. Throughout the year we also arrange outings to sites of interest and hold social events like our summer strawberry tea.

Our monthly meetings involve a talk followed by tea and biscuits and an opportunity to catch up with other members and discuss future events and outings.
